Peritus and B&C to host live online event on post-pandemic real estate

Peritus Corporate Finance and Bridging & Commercial have teamed up to host an online discussion on the real estate sector post Covid-19.

Entitled ‘Striving under the new abnormal’, Stene Jacobs, operations director at Peritus, will lead the conversation on navigating new ways of working once the pandemic and its effects subside somewhat, and how the property market can best position itself for recovery.

Joining Stene will be Alex Upton, commercial director at Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB); Paul Henson, partner at Irwin Mitchell, Gill Eaton, associate at Iceni Projects; and Brendan Geraghty, director at Geraghty Taylor.

The free webinar can be streamed live on Microsoft Teams from 11am on Thursday 18th June, via this link.

Alex is keen to expand on HTB’s experience during this challenging time.

“As a lender, we’ve been helping our brokers and stakeholders on a case-by-case basis throughout lockdown,” she said.

“I’m excited to join this debate to discuss how the industry can, and will, drive forward in light of recent events.

“I’ll share how we’ve managed through the past 12 weeks, adapted our lending, brought new initiatives to the market and maintained our ability to deliver our proposition effectively.”

Paul added: “I am looking forward to sharing my thoughts with an esteemed panel of real estate professionals to understand the impact the current Covid-19 restrictions are having on their businesses (and those of their clients) and the shape they consider the economic recovery will take.”

Stene hopes that this honest exchange of information and ideas will put listeners and viewers in a position to make the best decisions possible for their firms as we emerge out of the crisis.

“We are delighted to host our upcoming webinar with B&C next Thursday,” he commented.

“It has been a challenging time for our sector and the wider real estate market.

“We spent the last few years fostering great commercial relationships across all disciplines, and it is collaboration with these parties that has helped temper the effects of Covid-19 for us over the last three months.

“I’m looking forward to hearing the discussion points from the perspective of each in these specialty areas.”

The webinar will be moderated by Caron Schreuder, managing director at Bridging & Commercial.
