Asset lender Borro has just announced the appointment of two new members to its team including a world famous sports player.

Asset lender Borro has just announced the appointment of two new members to its team including a world famous sports player. 

London-based Borro has just revealed that it has hired Nyedzi Kpokpoya, who will be responsible for building relationships within the sports and entertainment industry and also the international SME market. 

The lender has also appointed Thomas Jefferson, who will be its new Marketing Manager, who will be responsible for developing the firm’s brand presence in the trade and consumer spaces.

B&C understands that Nyedzi was a professional basketball player in her native France and in Europe.

She has almost 10 years’ experience across various European professional service companies, the last three being within financial services. 

Commenting on her new role which will be London-based, Nydezi said: “I look forward to working closely with the affiliate market to ensure that they and their clients are really getting to grips with the benefits attached to our products while receiving a top quality level of personal service and expertise.”  

Tom joined Borro from the World Gold Council, where he was Marketing Manager for Jewellery, implementing and managing gold jewellery strategy and projects across Europe, USA, India and China, 

Prior to that he worked at Platinum Guild international, Ralph Lauren and WonderBrand in California. 

Tom will be managing the marketing team at Borro in London, developing Borro’s brand presence as well as delivering against the global marketing strategy. 

Commenting on Tom’s new role, Ashley Lockwood, Business Development Manager at Borro, said: “His unique background in luxury marketing will allow him to further enhance Borro’s position as sector leader.”
