Masthaven announces nine promotions across short-term lending team

Masthaven has revealed that it has made nine promotions across its short-term lending team.

The specialist bank has promoted all its team leaders — Raphael Benggio, Shaun Bains and Omkar Hushing — to the new position of underwriting manager.

Raphael joined Masthaven in 2016 as an underwriter, having previously served at Regentsmead.

Iram Yaqoob and Anna Meconi — who have been at Masthaven for more than five years — are now senior underwriters.

Caitlin Nicholson has been promoted from administrator to assistant underwriter (intermediate), while Chloe Dineen and Kelan Palmer have been named as assistant underwriters (expert), having previously been assistant underwriters (intermediate).

Elsewhere, James Hine has been appointed as credit manager, having formerly held the position of senior underwriter.

“In anticipation of a busy year — and in recognition of our team’s efforts — we have made a number of significant changes to our short-term lending team,” said Alan Margolis, director of bridging at Masthaven (pictured above).

“We are very pleased to announce the promotion of all our team leaders,” he said.

“This restructure is designed to increase efficiencies within the short-term department and allow us to continue delivering a fantastic service to our brokers.

“All [of the] changes reflect our desire to promote from within and provide exciting career progression at Masthaven.

“I’d like to congratulate all our colleagues on these promotions and look forward to seeing the team’s continued success through 2020.”
