It is available for loans over £750,000, up to 75% LTV, at a rate of 0.75% per month.

The lender stated that this product has a limited tranche.

Chris Fairfax, CEO at Catalyst Property Finance (pictured above), said: “We have spoken with brokers and borrowers every day throughout the lockdown and we’ve asked them what they need to move forward with their property transactions. 

“The answer was almost unanimous: they want fast access to flexible short-term finance that offers lending to a high LTV and a great rate.”

He added that it was able to support brokers throughout lockdown, “albeit with lower business levels than before”.

However, both enquiry and applications are now at a record high.
