Cambridge & Counties Bank appoints new COO

Cambridge & Counties Bank has appointed Tina Hayton-Banks as its new chief operating officer.

She will be taking over from Scott McMunn in the Autumn and will have full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of all departments across operations, IT and change management.

The COO role is a new position at the specialist bank, having been first set up in March this year and since managed on an interim basis by Scott.

Since October 2018, Tina has been director of member services at the Nottingham Building Society.

This covered the group’s operations in relation to all customer sales and service operations, as well as leading a first-line risk and compliance function.

“Cambridge & Counties Bank is well known in the market for its high-quality customer proposition and dedicated product suite,” said Tina.

“This represents a compelling career opportunity for me and I’m very much looking forward to helping the senior team build on the strong momentum the bank has in the market.”

Mike Kirsopp, CEO at Cambridge & Counties Bank, added: “We’re delighted to welcome someone of Tina’s track record and calibre to the team.

“She has exceptional experience in key areas such as customer service and compliance, and she will be central to the bank’s continued growth aspirations and our competitive profile.”
