In his role, Willem will oversee the finance functions of Blackfinch Property, Blackfinch Energy, and its legacy Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS).
Willem joins the Blackfinch team from Legal & General, where he spent seven years in financial accounting and business partnering roles within the real assets division, most recently as head of real estate business operations.
Prior to this, Willem qualified as a chartered accountant at PwC South Africa, before spending two years in PwC’s London office, focusing on real estate clients.

Commenting on his appointment, Willem said he was delighted to join Blackfinch.
