Fletcher Day closes its doors




The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has officially closed down the practice of Fletcher Day Limited on 22nd February this year, after approximately 14 years of operation.

The regulatory body has also intervened into the practice of Jude Fletcher practising at Fletcher Day.

According to an official statement made by the SRA, it intervened in order to protect the interest of current, former and potential clients, as well as the interest of beneficiaries of any trust the firm and Jude Fletcher were trustees.

All files held at the offices of Fletcher Day have been removed and are being held by the SRA.

In addition, the law firm’s bank accounts have been frozen, with all monies transferred to the regulatory body and held on behalf of clients.

Chris Evans of Lester Aldridge has been appointed as the intervening agent.
